The Good Food Box is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary whereby you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at a very low cost. The boxes are put together and delivered by dedicated volunteers who, along with The Community Kitchen, desire to see individuals and families accessing affordable nutritious food.

Each Good Food Box contains a combination of fruits and vegetables. The content varies due to seasonal availability.

The boxes contain the maximum produce to ensure our clients are getting the most value for the price.

Boxes are available in three different sizes

How it Works

Place your order and pay for your box by 9:00 am on the Order Date.

Pick up your box between 3:00 and 4:00 pm on the Pick-up Date.

Please contact the office for more information about pick up times or to make alternate arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE

Orders will only be fulfilled if we have 5 or more orders placed before the Order Deadline. In the event we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you via email and we will refund your payment or apply it to the next month’s box at your discretion.

Please note that at this time we are unable to accept payments via our website. In order to complete your order you must send an e-transfer to us via the usual process of your bank. Payments must be received before your order will be processed. E-transfer destination email will pop up after you submit your order.

Boxes that are not claimed within 24 hours of the pickup date will be distributed at our discretion. We are unable to provide refunds for unclaimed boxes. Thanks for your understanding.
